1. Clean by task instead of by room.

   Increase your cleaning efficiency by cleaning by task instead of by room. This can cut down on cleaning time and also prevents you from feeling like you’re in an endless cleaning cycle, starting the same task over and over in each room.

2. Use a cleaning caddy.
   

   Gather everything you need to clean in one portable caddy. This makes easier to access what you need quickly and efficiently.

3. Use a fringe shelf liner.

   Place wax paper or press and seal plastic wrap on the shelfs of your fridge. When they get dirty, simply remove and dispose of them.

4. Clean mirrors and windows with microfiber cloths.

   Microfiber requires less scrubbing and creates less waste than using paper towels. Use a damp microfiber cloth, followed by a dry microfiber cloth to clean all the mirrors and glass surfaces. Clean all of the mirrors and windows in your house at once, as opposed to cleaning them room by room.

5. Let cleaner sit.

   Letting your cleaner sit before actively scrubbing can save you effort and time. Spray cleaner on the kitchen and bathroom sinks, tubs and toilets and allow it to sit and break down any grime before actively scrubbing.

6. Vacuum last.

   Save the vacuuming until last. Keep moving throughout the entire house when you vacuum instead of vacuuming room by room.
